Fans of Leon who already own the film on the previous blu-ray release will have a harder choice to make here than those like me who never owned the film on anything but standard definition.
From the electrifying opening to the fatal finale, Leon: The Professional is a nonstop crescendo of action, suspense and surprises. Experience the uncut version, with 24 minutes of footage not included in the original U.S. theatrical version.
On Blu-ray, Leon: the Professional looks quite impressive for a film of 16 years of age with sharp images and some great clarity. At times, the colours in the movie are quite vibrant and then all of a sudden, you’re thrown into the grim and gritty world of crime as you are taken to a variety of grisly environments. There is a little bit of grain but considering the age of the film, it’s.
Leon the Professional Blu-Ray has a lot of good features that's short enough so you won't get bored with them. Like always, Blu-ray delivers great video (1080p Mpeg-4 with an aspect ratio 2.35:1) and strong accompanying acoustics (DTS-HD 5.1 Surround - English, English SDH, French, Portuguese, and Spanish subtitles). The acting in this film is solid; Jean Reno does an excellent job of making.

Reviews Lon lives a lonely life in New York, working as a professional hitman for the mob. Near-silent and utterly ruthless, Leon doesn't seem to possess an ounce of humanity.
